Hotel Danai Beach Resort

It is located between Metamorfosi and Nikiti directly by the beginning of Sirthonia, the "middle finger" of Halkidiki. It is relatively hidden in a sandstone cliff. The resort is spread out over several buildings, some even a little old, which are connected by short paths with one another. Halkidiki compared to the south of Greece very green, there are no huge "concrete castles" but rather smaller hotels.

Because the hotel is so small, they recognize all guests and can fulfill their wishes. We can only describe the service in all areas as "the best".

The restaurant is, in our opinion, the highlight of the hotel. It is a rather small but very good quality breakfast buffet, you can let yourself prepare a huge selection of egg dishes and bring to the table. For breakfast, often a pianist was playing classical music. Even fully booked all the tables are aligned so that you can see the sparkling sea.In the evening there are 3 different possibilities. A more classic restaurant, similar to a kind of very good half-board in Austria or Germany, a fish restaurant with a Greek-Turkish style, and a gourmet restaurant which has only 6 tables.At noon you can eat pizza, pasta and fresh fish in the fish restaurant or little things can be served directly onto the beach.Everywhere one hears and sees the sea.The food was fantast

The beach is so large that even with a fully booked you always get a lounge chair. Very good service by the lounge chairs, possible upgrade to higher value "sun tents" for extra payment. Beautiful pool above the area, a beautiful indoor pool for cold days was also available.In the evening there is a good bar that is open to the sea, once a week live music, otherwise not offered in the evening, but this is also good. You want to relax anyways...

The room service was excellent, everything always perfectly clean, even the balcony. We had a junior suite, with "small" sea view, but was otherwise perfect. The many shelves and cabinets over a 14 day stay will be appreciated. Beautiful, large terrace with ample furniture.

The Danai is a hotel that can be recommended for a quiet, stress-free vacation. Bathing, relaxing, eating well and at best do nothing else. We felt so comfortable that we have extended three days.
