Living like in 1001 night *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel consists of 3-4 former private residential street with large patios. All the rooms of the patios. It is not a mass hotel! It is located in the middle of the old city from Aleppo. As almost every Boutique Hotel is only within walking distance, the staff was at the The suit-cases but helping. We were greeted with a refreshing drink. The staff was always approachable and helpful the hotel service was perfect.
We had room 303, a nice, large suite, which made us speechless: fireplace, large cushions on the floor, the areas for relaxation, oriental sitting area with a tv, bed with canopy, very large bathroom with claw-foot tub and separate shower. The room including the bathroom was cleaned thoroughly every day cleaned.
Boutique hotels have no pool, disco or similar and that is a good Sunday you will enjoy the oriental flair. In The inner courtyard or on the rooftop terrace you can drink a tea or a water pipe smoke.
Tips
Just book with breakfast and dinner in the old city (to foot reachable) cheap and excellent food. The restaurant Sissi is in the neighborhood and very recommendable. A glass of wine in the legendary Hotel Baron and history inhalation.
We would recommend for Syria, to book only breakfast and in the evenings the local cuisine to explore on your own.
