Good Hotel. Ideally located for excursions! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA very nice, quiet place with an older clientele. Wonderful gardens and the most beautiful beach of dassia. Especially the beach under the old olive trees has a very relaxed atmosphere. There is an open-air cinema, which we didn't used, therefore I can say also nothing further. The fitness studio is very well equipped and made a clean impression. The staff was always friendly to us and overall the hotel made a well-kept impression. However, you really have to say, that our room, in contrast to the remaining hotel, a rather more simple standard. The food is served in buffet form. I particularly liked it, that also korfiotish specialties (for example, sofrito, Stifádo and Spanakópitta). But there are also the usual moussaka, the farmer salad, tzaziki and various pasta-apparently for those German tourists also be;-). From time to time the meals are a little greasy fancy, but it tasted quite good. The prices for the drinks were a bit high, especially at the bar (a cocktail for eight, 50 Euro). But as we've never been the sort of holiday-makers those the night at the hotel, was that it didn't really matter, particularly, in the immediate vicinity there were enough bars in which the cocktails only four cost €. Dassia is an ideal starting point for excursions on the island, since there aren't any long distances must take (Corfu town is 20 minutes for a, 50 euros by bus reachable). The dassia is for tourists who love the original/grown places, not recommended: one tavern to the next and you had the impression, that there was no Korfiot itself and the place only for the tourists was built. Here are places like kassiopi palaiokastritsa or more to offer. Overall, it was a nice vacation.
