Opera visit in Verona for a we chose the hotel halfway between Verona and Padua, Vicenza have a lot to offer as (Teatro olympico among other things!) and not touristy. four star at a good price, we thought. However, the hotel is the Boscolo Group shadow. The rooms are completely worn, wallpaper coming out, veneers detached in the lobby and the upholstery was worn. The parking garage is damp. Staff will go out of their way, to compensate for the shortcomings. Former specialty restaurant 'Taszio' serves as a bar and breakfast room. All in all, I have not four star standard more and only for those on a city break to recommend.
