Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI was this year for the second time in Lara Beach. Due to the high quality in May I booked this hotel again. But it was a total flop. When I arrived after midnight, there was no way of getting something to eat, not to mention the welcome drink. The next day I could see the whole extent of the off-season - the place was already falling into a state of hibernation. The jetty was dismantled, remaining Bali huts could not be used (no mattresses, pillows), no drinks near the beach, minimalist drink offer at the poolbar, no snacks for the afternoon, only 2 a la carte restaurants, lunch, dinner reduced to the essentials (in May, there were shrimp, chocolate fountains, salmon, theme nights, huge selection and beautifully decorated dessert buffet, etc.), billiards and hookah for a fee (in May, both free).
Animation, it was alleged, but was still hiding from me. The only real animation were the cats - they were everywhere. Under the table and on the table, under the chairs and couches too, and within 2m where there was food.
The cleaners also differ greatly depending on the floor and wing of the hotel. From nice, creative cleaning up ladies to rude and lazy ones.
In high season a very good hotel with lots of extras and surprises (champagne pyramid, foam party, etc.). At the end of the season, from mid-November, there is only a very limited offer, what the money is NOT worth it. All photos were made exclusively in May.
