Our best holiday ever
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Ahotel was very clean,+ extremely well-run.run on a ultra-all-inclusive basis (no limits).food was available 24 hours a day. hotel size was not too big,there was never any crowds or queues. still had a 'new feeling' to it.surroundings were very weel kept.
Location
right on the beach front with sea bar,with a beautiful view. next city Antalya about 30 mins by mini bus,where there is a lovely harbour,but alot of pestering for your money by the locals,which gets tiering. airport only 20 mins away. few shops opposite the hotel + beauty salon and hairdressers-where i got an extremely reasonable hair-do!! not much of a walk-way out front of hotel,just a very long road of other hotels. road-works were taking place at the time for new paths.
very friendly staff,most spoke good english. room was cleaned every-day by lovely Fatima,towels re-newed every-day. only fault was not knowing men had to wear trousers for dinner,my husband had to buy some from the shop before we were allowed in,he'd only packed shorts.
Gastronomy
al-la-carte restaurants were brilliant,food lovely and excellent quality.service in dining rooms was very efficient,and a really good selection of food to suit all.we tried turkish,italian,french,chinese + mexican and they were all lovely.
we gave small tips to the main waiters in al-la-carte.
Sport & Entertainment
activities were available all-day for kids and adults-a brilliant atmosphere. pools were very clean,with a type to suit everyone.we spent most of our time in the aqua-park which my hubby + 9 yr old son loved.
there was a large main pool area which was too deep for my son 1m 40 all way round.but the aqua pool was the right depth,+ there was a small childrens pool area with a slide and a 'relax' pool area for 14 yrs + over.fresh towels were available every day for us with 'towel card' passes.
Room
good size,very clean,furniture good condition,modern flat screen tv,with a childrens english channel.air-con fab with various settings.free safe,mini-bar well stocked and replaced daily,tea/coffee kettle facilities.a good powerful shower-no bath.
Tips and recommendations
wanted good weather with-out it being too hot.got to late 30's, we went end of may,so would'nt enjoy it any later into summer months.you need high factor cream. thought value for type of hotel was really ,good-worth every penny. just remember long trousers for men.
