Adequate for a short break *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOverall, we were rather disappointed from the Delta. After many positive reviews here at HolidayCheck we would have expected a little more ... ! But these are often, there are light and shade. Especially positive is the friendly service at check-in. Although we directly via the hotel website a good hot deal booked on arrival, we were 3 different rooms for your choice. We were also offered a large room toward the Gerrard Street and a smaller room on the opposite side. We were greeted by a friendly lady but stressed that we had a large room but might need to expect construction noise from across the construction site. We found it to be very attentive, that we were being pointed out in advance. Be far less friendly and competent we found the concierge service. In addition, the desk at 7:00 pm already closed and there was no one will looking for a restaurant or the like helps someone ... ! According to our opinion, more a bad value for a hotel of this size. The large room turned out spacious and homey. The decoration was pretty good and the bathroom was not large but relatively well furnished. The electrical installations were but rather adventurous ... ! When you are in the bathroom, the light is turned on the TV only were to be disturbed langugage. Also a table lamp didn't work very reliable. The hotel food which we visited (Market Garden), however, was more like questionable. After a long day shopping - we didn't want to leave the hotel and wanted something smaller in hotel. The "Market Garden is unfortunately but just a dumpy, unhygienic self-service restaurant. The other restaurants but I can't rate. All in all, the Delta especially due to its location. I don't know if we would book it again ... ? For us, value not always the case. But for a short trip you can bear it.
