Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAfter 2005 loved the hotel, this was a big disappointment. On 11 September 01:30 ertönten in the room and throughout the hotel and the fire alarm announcements, that all guests IMMEDIATELY to come down in the lobby area and the lifts out of action. The hotel has 1,500 rooms on circa 26 floors. We were on the 19th floor and had to us from da 19 floors through a much too narrow Nottreppenhaus down by fighting. There were also some older, infirm people. After about 20 minutes in the lobby we had to first arrived laugh hundreds guests all nations, partially abenteuerlichster nightwear , who were, through the lobby. After a further fifteen minutes beyond the message that it was a false alarm acted and the elevators are working again. 03:00 We were back in the bed.
Location
The hotel is located corner Gerrard/Young Street and only about 300 meters from the Eatoncenter away. Next to the hotel there was a construction site for a new hotel.
Check-in was still satisfactory, but the arrogance after the mentioned above. Events is beyond words. We had polite to refund the accommodation asked for the night, but there was no more talk false alarm problem, but in the interest of a review of area the security of the guests ... !?! ... 01:30 borders it clear outrageous.
Gastronomy
We booked this hotel through DERTOUR with continental breakfast in the worth $14 C. You can do without on this breakfast can, as it is just 2 luggages and juice + coffee/tea.
Sport & Entertainment
The only commendable area in the hotel. The pool/fitness area is located on the roof terrace on the 27 floor. There are so many great fitness equipment from the company American fitness available. From the outdoor terrace with pool chairs you'll get a good view of the CN Tower, Ontario lake and downtown. The sauna is a small dirty wooden box for up to 2 persons.
Room
influenced by other reviews we booked a deluxe room, in short, so the question, what is the standard rooms from? The balcony was completely dilapidated, the fittings old and worn and dirt in every corner of the room.
