Excellent hotel
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Delta is in a very quiet area which means that there is not much to do outside the hotel itself, with a few bars and cafes and a supermarket a few minutes walk away, but local transport is cheap, comfortable and punctual. The hotel offers free transport to its private beach club during the day and into Arenal in the evening and the bus to Palma leaves from right outside the hotel, taking approximately 45 minutes to arrive in the capital which is a beautiful city in which to spend at least one full day. If you decide to stay nearer to the hotel you can take advantage of the tennis courts, the putting course or the bicycle hire facilities or, of course, lounge by one of the pools.
Rooms are large and very clean with free air-conditioning, a balcony, plenty of storage space and a safe for which there is a weekly charge. The bar area is situated by one of the two outdoor pools and there are lots of seats and tables for relaxing in the evening.
The private beach club is extremely clean and quiet with radios banned and has great views over the sea to the coast. There is a 6 Euro charge, but this gets sunbeds, umbrella, towels and a free drink.
The main restaurant on the first floor serves a wide variety of well-prepared wine and stocks a good selection of wines.
All in all the Delta is well worth its four stars and I would recommend it highly.
