Exquisite care and attention
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOur beautiful room , it's hard to compete with the glorious views from the windows over the lake and mountains, but Les Trois Couronnes manages to give you supreme comfort in a traditional, elegant, style.
We felt cosseted perhaps spolit during our stay.
Nowhere else in Europe have we been made to feel so welcome been so comfortable or enjoyed ourselves so much.
Dining out on the terrace on a fine summer evening is just amazing. As the light changes to pink and the lake and mountains light up you can just about pay enough attention to your superb meal if you are disciplined !
Breakfast is extremely good too.
Les Trois Couronnes is highly recommended for anyone who needs a tonic but I recommend it to just about anyone, except perhaps for young families.
Then there is Switzerland. Lake Geneva has much to enjoy, fantastic old steamers, railways trips to mountain tops, vineyards of world heritage status and Geneva and Lausanne within easy travelling distance from Vevey and Montreux just a mile or so away.
