Family holiday
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI feel the need, to write some words about the DION Palace, where we stayed this summer with our family. After reading the comments of some members, I am really sorry, for the impression, which has been given, to this nice place.
We chose DION palace, due to the excellent see quality, that has been recognised with the blue flag of the European Union, as well as the nearest resort to Mount Olymp.
Arriving at Dion palace resort, we were very friendly welcomed in perfect German by the hotel staff.
Open space, very comfortable and tasty arranged with open main bar, overlooking the 4 pools and the sea.
Location
The resort is a very seldom place, with a wide garden in front of the sea. Ideally located for relaxing and beach holidays. The beach itself is a place, where you can enjoy private holidays, not crowded.
Besides the training student that where mostly from Eastern Europe and Russia, the service was made also from the local personnel, that spoke German and English.
The young people were very friendly and always polite to us.
Our room in the main building with a beautiful sea view was cleaned daily, to our satisfaction.
Gastronomy
All compliments to the kitchen of the Dion palace.
A wide range of fresh traditional and international dishes where served daily. Very good salads, fruits and sweets buffet.
Sport & Entertainment
Our children of the age 7 and 10, fall in love with the kids swimming club NEMO, that was taking place every day in the kids pool under a big tree.
Additionally to that, we could participate in various swimming and sport activities that the young animation team had to offer.

Friendly arranged room, with conformable furnisher incl. TV Satelite, minibar, safe, tel. air-cond.
Tips and recommendations
Enjoy the sun the sea and the Greek hospitality in a family atmosphere, with lovely people around you.
