The best Italian hotel and restaurant in Germany
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had a great time in Hotel Don Giovanni! The Italian atmospere in the rooms, the restaurant and the garden is absolutely wonderful! The room was nicely decorated and romantic. The room was big and very clean! The hotel has a beautiful sunny garden and when you'e sitting in the restaurant inside, it seems like you're in a garden as well, because of all the plants, light and foutains. The food is home-made Italian and very good. And very important: cheap prices! They serve breakfast in the garden/restaurant inside: we enjoyed it very much! We were very happy about are choice to come to Don Giovanni : visiting Leipzig is even better when you stay and eat in this great hotel!
Location
From the central station, it's very easy to reach hotel Don Giovanni. You take tram 3 of 13 and it only takes 15 min. to Schwartsestrasse. The trams go regularly, so no problem at all!
The people in Hotel Don Giovanni were very friendly and helped us in every way. The welcomed us in very warmly and we felt at home inmediately. The rooms were very clean, they clean the rooms every day and make the beds. We were really satisfied about the service.
Gastronomy
Ristorante Don Giovanni has actually more restaurants: a pizzeria, a restaurant inside, a beaufiful garden and some other rooms for groups. We had wonderful dishes like home-made lasagna, salmone al forno, carpaccio, pasta quatro formaggi etc. The food is really great!

Room
The hotel has 8 of 9 rooms and they are all differently decorated. Romantic atmosphere, beaufiful furniture. The bathroom was very nice and clean. We had TV, minibar, music, it looked like a suite to me!
Tips and recommendations
We stayed in Hotel Don Giovanni from the 12th of June until the 16 th. , the weather was beautiful and sunny. We went to Leipzig for the Bachfestival, which was very good, we enjoyed it a lot!
