The hotel in the best location at the quiet Göthepark is the ideal starting point for the surrounding Provencal countryside of Weimar. It is good and easy to get to. The car is for € 8 , -/day in the hotel's garage prima. All interesting places of historic old town are all within walking distance. The newly built main building fits right in the home of the old houses the surroundings. Lobby and elevators, corridors and rooms are functionally equipped, very clean and deliver a sachliches homely feeling. The same can be said breakfast and bar areas. Other areas we can't comment on as we didn't use it. All the staff members of the hotel, we encountered was very friendly, attentive and professional. Their smile assessed the otherwise relevant/classical atmosphere again. The offer of the kitchen (including the good breakfast buffet) - is so good, the home for a meal in the evening you just do not want to leave. Since it was in the middle environment but a wide variety of excellent restaurants and historical ambience, you have then spoilt for choice. We will recommend this place and look forward to my next stay in 'our' hotel Dorint am Göthepark.
