Hotel Doubletree Club Suites Jersey City

In 5 minutes you can walk from the Pavonia Newport Station of the Path Train, which allows you to drive into Manhattan. There is a nice walk to the Hudson River from Manhattan can look out for you, both day and night time experience. There are several supermarkets nearby and of course the giant Newport Centre Mall, where you can buy great. We enjoyed it, come after a long day in Manhattan back here because it was quiet there (at night), clean and the air we breathe was.

The staff was always friendly and helpful, we have agreed on English, so I know nothing about the language skills. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, there was every morning a daily newspaper outside the door, and new tea bags and coffee pads.

We have seen a restaurant, but it is not used

Since we were every day in Manhattan, we had no more need for sports. We have even used the gym and although on the last day to weigh our bags there.

The room was in good condition, there was a separate living room with couch and coffee table and chairs and a large desk and chair. The kitchen area has fridge, microwave and Coffemaker, no dishes and cutlery, only paper cups for the coffee. Unfortunately, there was no sink in the hotel description promised, so we always had to wash in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, the linens fresh and the blankets and pillows very comfortable. The safe was free, the phone we have not used. The air conditioning worked, but was in parts very loud.

The hotel is located in Jersey City and we landed at JFK airport, which is a long and uncomfortable transfer of a traffic jam in the other and took us 2 1 / 2 hours. On the return flight, the whole again, it was very annoying, so if possible use the Newark airport.
