Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Ban Jelacic-Platz, von dort hat man in allen Richtungen sämtliche Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs.
Die für Zagreb typischen Cafés verteilen sich ringsrum in der Altstadt und die Auswahl an internationalen Restaurants ist vielfältig.
Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet und wenn man fragt, ob man eins zum Jelacic-Platz bekommt, dann auch sehr ruhig mit einem fantastischen Ausblick auf das Alltagsgeschehen der Zagreber.
Direkt gegenüber (quer über den Platz) befindet sich der Markt, ein absolutes Muss!!! Obst Gemüse, Blumen.. Alles, was das Herz begehrt.
Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist der Besuch auf dem Mirogoj-Friedhof. Da die Öffnungszeiten aber nur bis 18:00 Uhr sind, sollte man diesen Besuch in den Winterlegen, da das überwältigende Schauspiel der Lichter natürlich nur im Dunkeln zu bewundern ist.
Mit dem Auto nach Zagreb ist allerdings nicht zu empfehlen, da die Parkplatzsituation alles andere als entspannt ist. Vom Flughafen in die City fährt ein Bus, oder aber man nimmt sich ein Taxi, kostet ca. 20,-€
