Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAbout an hour and a half drive from Mérida away, you will find this little paradise, the-a closer look, has quite a lot of points. First, the directions: you can go to Celestún inside, it's up to the end of the road, at the T-intersection you turn right. There is also a few meters, then starts a nasty crushed, the almost as to be impassable. If we would have known in advance of this approach, we would choose this hotel probably not. For the ten miles crushed we needed a good half hour, more wasn't't really in it. Therefor made up the remote, beautiful and perfectly shell on seeded beach. You can experience a beautiful sunset. Here is negative, that you'have already on arrival at the front desk was familiar with prevention and care of moskitostichen. In our bungalow, the otherwise was very nice, also have to wait an army of mosquitoes. In fact we know would have not booked. The bathroom was half open, but with a plexiglass window frames. Is positive, that it to breakfast coffee in the room was. The dinner was good, but the service was extremely slow. Highly recommended is the tour of the flamingos. Our guide was your private tour in English and knew quite a lot of words in German. A lonely beach was headed, were there are still remains of Mayan archaeological to find. Petrified forest was a controlled with fen, before it went to the flamingos. Continue to a cenote and then return to the port. A nice boat trip, but not in the (high) price was included. The check-out took less than 40 minutes on the day of departure, there after a power outage the credit card reader device didn't work anymore. For nature lovers the Ecoparaíso really is very recommendable, also the solitude speaks for itself. But we are now under the circumstances of which you are aware (mosquito plague, driving directions on crushed) selected this hotel.
