Hotel Eden Alcudia

The hotel location of the hotel was close to the beach and there was no directly accessible street between. There were 2 grocery stores next door and in the region other stores and restaurants (in ca. 100-500m).

The beach was clean and neat. There was a good take away at the beach.

The service staff in the dining room was partly unfriendly and unattentive. Long waits before orders. The staff quality and training rather lacking. The head server as example gave the wrong return change when we paid. The kitchen staff in the dining room was unfriendly to the guests and mostly not at all courteous. So after the motto, 'hopefully it is soon closing time!'

The cleaning staff for the rooms were always friendly and attentive.

The buffets didn't have a lot of variety and the selection was usually the same everyday. There were often the same meat dishes, ice cream etc.
One could make the buffets with more variety and more appealing. The offer was often the same daily.

The entertainment tried and was always friendly. At the entertainment there was a lack of motivation and the diligence was partly missing. Since the entertainment during the week organized even the evening shows, the crew was too small for the many shows during the week over a longer time period. There were rocks as well as glass pieces in the sand on the beach volleyball court. As well there was a high fence missing towards the street. The pool water was partly very agressive.

There was a small refrigerator in the flat and an electric stove. In the room there was a small stand for the bags. There was relatively little room for the clothes. There was no radio and no TV. The rooms were air conditioned and it was only roughly adjusted. (Thermostat) Either it was too cold or warm. Normal thin walls of the hotel. The cleanness upon our arrival was poor.

The cell phone availability was good, the internet was available, price and performance ratio was too high.
