The negative mostly unfortunately! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAt first glance the décor and you in the hotel is first very impressed. Everything seems perfect, they are all very friendly and the beautiful bar is full the eye-catcher! The check-in was quick and easy. We have the us in the Neubauteil promised room with oceanview on the 19th floor that, but the room was anything but clean! The towels were torn and saturated with holes. A quick call to the front desk and we got another room, which was clean and relatively "good" was. Unfortunately turned out as soon as possible, that were a lot of construction noise were connected with partially enormous, sattfanden. This was unfortunately not confirmed before traveling, otherwise we would choose another hotel. The spa area was still fully in the construction and pool area there are daily instead of any repairs, the with strong smell. Also was a part of the pool area for at least three days completely closed off. So was the beautiful beach the alternative. Although this belonging to the hotel, you would pay here for two beach chairs and an umbrella rich $35 per day. A rip off!!! The hotel's restaurant GIA is a buffet breakfast. This is okay, but there were two weeks the same every day of meats, cheeses and desserts. For $57 for two people was pretty hairy! Thank God we had this including! The atmosphere in the restaurant was very comfortable, but as far as the temperatures partly as felt 0°C set by the AC, so many guests complained. However, it is on the weekend with the cosiness past the hotel, when the Americans crowding. Here You will find a lot of business events/exhibitions medical devices and weddings and family celebrations. As you may find yourself waiting for the weekend smooth up to 2 hours to finally a table in the restaurant. And another tip: Do check out all signed receipts identification and compare this with the final bill. Conclusion: The Eden Roc is a very nice, stylish hotel. In our opinion it is excellent for events, fairs or events, but do not necessarily for vacations, relaxation!
