Hotel El Samaka Beach

The location was okay. Not far from the airport and the shopping possibilities were directly in front of the hotel. Right by the beach - which was not very beautiful and also neglected. The Hard Rock Cafe Hurghada wasn't even 2 minutes away from the hotel. A very good pizzeria is right next door.

Service??? If one got silverware to eat it was already good! The tables were dirty. One could change money at the hotel but at a very bad rate. Generally hardly any service available. With German one did not get far and with English only limited. Russian was nearly understood by all. Although the complaints were received, nothing was really done about it.

There was only one restaurant and a beach bar. The food was disgusting and unseasoned. Drinks with half board were much too expensive. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. All meals were buffet form - but disorganized. Atmosphere was equivalent to a bad cafeteria. Every day the same music played.

Entertainment only for Russians. The disco was also overcrowded with Russians exactly as the pool and the beach. No internet. The water was as typical for the Red Sea very clear and nice, but the beach was filthy. Beach chairs were available but old and dirty. From 4 showers only one worked.

The bathroom was in an unacceptable condition!
The beds were clean! The air conditioner was always noisy and dirty. The TV didn't work and there was no telephone.

DO NOT GO TO El SAMAKA!!!
