The second Hotel visit has not disappointed us *

Nevertheless, we had a room with sloping roof, we were rewarded with a 'view advanced' in the Grünbachtal of additional (around the corner) rathen. The rooms were a bit small, therefor or window in the bathroom. Friendly staff and very accommodating. At the breakfast would be a change in the sausage and salad choice was very pleasant, since several days stay the same ones every day even better! Also tomatoes and cucumbers should not even frozen land on the buffet. Fresh herbs, would also a delight. We had a three and a four course meal, great, creative prepared, tasty food! Excellent! The Spa area we could use for the first time (was on our most recent trip was not yet opened) small, but nice. We were lucky to be there at a time, at which we were alone for us. The brine grotto Jacuzzi with light and relaxing music. We liked it very much. The hotel also has a new bar, the bartender was not really our cup of tea, you don't have any like... At the prices but, there must be a bit sociable. The hotel is a wonderful starting point for hikes, perhaps should be purchased our own bicycles. Again and again recommendable, the food in the castle old-rathen, not to recommend the restaurant is Ettrich on the other side of the Elbe. We have made proposals to improve on-the-spot survey of the guests, then must not purely. In any case, the hotel is a good choice, for a quiet, relaxing hiking vacation. Nor are we really getting value for money. Good view on the third floor, the two room with a slanted and small, for the same price. Therefor a better view rooms in the 31 Grünbachtal. Wonderful.
