Bauhaus, but not on the amount of time *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI chose this elephant-according to many the best house at the place-Weimar, because the website promised a lot of luxury. Through a travel agent, I was able to make a special offer and wanted to visit the city of Weimar was already long on my list of cities in, I would have. The location of the hotel is very good: on the market and to many sights and sounds of the city a pleasant walk away. The car park is directly in front of the hotel costs €13, -. The check-in took a bit 'neutral': no kind words to the front desk (probably, because I arrived with vouchers), hardly any instruction to the house, on the issue, if there was a room, that would be closer to the central area, was told, is that I'm young and have good legs. So I had to go through some seminargruppen always, inter alia, to my room, the way if you chose. There is a living I think deep atmosphere in the hallways and the stairwell. I was with the word ' Bauhaus' and made aware. I am fully aware of this, but for a 5 *-the house there is a lack of elegance and warmth or architectural style, because the window and radiator urgently needed a renovation. The same applies to the bathroom fixtures to, each newer hotel in the shade (verkaltk) be made. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was almost in the middle of the room, which had its appeal, but it worked just not comfortable. The tv was old, small and powerful long in the tooth. It was missing, I think the factor. The service is impeccable and the breakfast and restaurant staff are working just top and very natural. Also the offer was great. For dinner I ate in the hotel itself, even though the offer very tempting read. Unfortunately I missed after a culturally eventful day the possibility of a sauna or Jacuzzi, or visit the fitness facility was not what I meant. If arch tectonically interesting buildings from the thirties and the living conditions and not very important, the right place is in the elephant. I myself would prefer to another visit in Weimar rather the Dorint Hotel.
