Top hotel, not central location - shuttle bus *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AProbably one of the best hotels in Anchorage. We had it for one night on our motorhome-trip through Alaska (line). Only downside is that the city center is not within walking distance. But the hotel operates a free shuttle service to downtown and the airport. The rooms (bedroom and separate living area with a small kitchen) are very generously dimensioned, clean and stylishly furnished. On request, we a quiet room, which is situated away from the road. The breakfast was a little too American for our taste, but otherwise good in quality and choice. If you don't need to be in the center of the old got safe or wanted to a better value than, for instance, at the Hilton downtown.
