Wir waren eine Woche zum Tauchen dort und sehr positiv überrascht. Obwohl der erste Eindruck bei Ankunft nicht überwältigend war, hat es uns sehr gut im Hotel gefallen.
Obwohl Hauptsaison hatten wir den Pool i. d.R. mit zwei, drei anderen Gästen ganz für uns, inkl. Bedienung von der Bar.
Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, einige Kellner üben noch, sind dafür aber sehr zuvorkommend und laufen ggf. einmal mehr. Das offene Restaurant mit Blick auf das Meer ist sowohl morgens als auch abends ein Genuss. V. a. da keinerlei Animation stört!
Obwohl wir nur wenige Gäste waren, war das Essen jeden Abend abwechslungsreich und weit entfernt von den touristischen Standardessen "Nudel mit Sauce". Das Vorspeisenbuffet mit traditionellen ägyptischen Leckereien war so gut, dass kaum Platz für den Hauptgang blieb.
Wer mag, kann sich einige Kenntnisse in Arabisch aneignen, "Unterricht" hierzu wird angeboten.
Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, mit Balkon, und werden regelmäßig gereinigt - keine Beanstandung.
Die angeschlossene Tauchbasis hatte während unseres Aufenthalts hervorragende Guides!
Alles in allem eine Woche zum Wohlfühlen ohne Luxus aber mit gutem Standard.
