A relaxing stay in Hotel Erato *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe 'aircraft reviews' : opposite to other reviews, the proximity to the airport Heraklion not particularly disturbed. Of course you will notice the arriving planes, which fly at the landing was about 200-300 meters high still estimated Gournes, you have to say, however, that the turbines landing only slightly are active, 'noise' so in our opinion not. The planes start almost exclusively toward Heraklion-which of course much louder in Gournes you noticed nothing! To the hotel: friendly staff, clean rooms, the evening buffet was not our case, but one always found something which tasted good, the breakfast only had a small selection and it was very difficult to arrive after about ten days, an alternation to find. This criticism at departure was good and the hotel Erato next year the breakfast buffet differently arranged (according to statement of the hotel boss). To the beach: the beach was a highlight for us. He scored by the total clear water, a beautiful sandy beach and promenade with opportunities for shopping, tasty restaurants and bars. Some bars chairs and sunshades available. These are often free, as soon as you order at the bar. (Example: ice cream two, 50 Euro, freshly squeezed orange juice three, 50 Euro). The possibilities for excursions :... we couldn't say a lot, since we almost exclusively as a vacation for relaxation and bathing vacation have used. A bus connection direction Malia and direction Heraklion existed directly in front of the hotel. The buses run every 15 minutes there was almost always! Conclusion: a successful holiday total relaxing and :-)
