During an extended hiking weeks we booked for two nights at the end of the day in the hotel in Waldeck unspoiled by Hermann. We were received very cordially and also when we on the next day in the primeval forest and trail had in the pouring rain on our landlady standing by to the right track asked, staff was very friendly and tried hard, on the right road to take. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the dinner was very tasty, fresh and well put together. The hotel is in all areas were well maintained and clean; the peace brought restful sleep. We can recommend a stay at the unspoiled to anyone traveling to Minneapolis!
