Good location, large rooms, but *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was from us because of its excellent location (a few steps away from the "magnificent mile") and of the - compared to other hotels in this category and location - apparently very reasonable price of a city hotel in the United States. (More specifically, as 300 USD including tax paid for two nights. The hotel can also be booked cheaper, but at this time there was an event in Mangificent mile", so that all hotels were correspondingly expensive. ) The room was very large and (although we didn't booked handicapped accessible and needed including the bathroom and with everything you would expect from a hotel in this category. We had a hotel on the top floor (8. ), But is still even from there not much to see, since the surrounding houses are bigger than others. Directly attached to the hotel is a parking garage, from which you can go right to the hotel, without go on to walk the streets. The price for the parking garage is similar in town centers horrendous, as any large American town (around 30 USD without valet parking). Actually would my description here ends with the result of a solid city hotels with good value for money, but I have to unfortunately but got one single, but massive criticism: The cleanliness of the baths. Because while the room itself was clean and tidy, back yard in the bathroom dozens of long black hair in the shower, on the floor and especially on the bathroom counter. You could just returned on the bathroom counter the impression that only to the things that is, they mopped. When I accidentally left a angular containers, were moving including next to the said hair shampoo and soap left also. The bathroom is just a "neuralgischer point" in a hotel room. If the bathroom not neat and you must disgusting to use it, then this is the full well-being in the hotel. A complaint on this point at the front desk and the attempt to, the cleaning staff through a high tip to a better cleaning of the bathroom to encourage were unsuccessful. Despite this negative experience I allowed, the hotel, as this matter - after talking with other guests - probably a solitary must have been. The hotel itself however we would not book here again.
