Simply too expensive, but otherwise perfect! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt is a huge city hotel with 27 floors and direct access to a large shopping mall (Pacific Center). The hotel is certainly a bit dated, but it really looks at any point. The rooms are clean and in good condition. The hotel also has a restaurant in which you can enjoy all meals. The guests were very international, but especially business travellers.
Location
The hotel enjoys a central location (mid-in downtown), both Stanley Park, the waterfront and the transition to the Granville Island is easy walking distance. There is plenty of shopping and sightseeing tours.
The service was the following this hotel, I think. I wasn't often in such high-class hotels, but both at check in, check out the room service menu as well as with our questions and porters we always treated very friendly and courteous. Of course the communication in English worked very well, German wasn't spoken. Next to the put together housekeeping service there are of course numerous additional services such as. Laundry service, food in the room etc. But of course it will only cost you had to be paid extra. Also with complaints is the staff handled exemplary. When we checked in, we were a wrong information regarding cost and we realized this until it was time to check out. We were so will be charged as we got told had. We found this very accomodating (approx. 40 CAD).

There was a large restaurant which you could use. But we were never there anyway. So we went breakfast on's room (from a restaurant). The food tasted very good, but it wasn't exactly cheap. A BC breakfast consisting of: orange juice, coffee, butter, jam, cream cheese, 1 bagel 2 slices of toast, Rühreit with potatoes and bacon costs All inclusive (tax + service) about 35cad, but for 2 people.
Sport & Entertainment
There is a big gym with pool. But we didn't use either ... There is also Wireless Internet access, but unfortunately also fee (the normal connection costs 12 CAD/24h). The hotel also boasts a barber and variety of spa services.
Room
The room was really great. Very spacious and useful decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the work area was both to work as well as for the breakfast in the morning is perfect placed. The TV is absolutely ochwertig and the mini bar is well stocked. A balcony there was, but in a city is the don't have time to be very important ... In the room there is no - otherwise in Canada so often usual - coffee and tea making facilities. I guess you will receive elsewhere. Especially good and spacious was also the bathroom. There were a lot of counter space everything was clean and updated.
Tips and recommendations
It is the hotel, nothing to complain about, so I have to say that I for me to rather pay a little less and maybe not everything is perfect. I stayed here on business and had a group rate (225cad without taxes) and I have to say that its just not worth it. There are many other hotels in the immediate (as central) region, the cost considerably less. But if appropriate, then the hotel is really nice and highly recommended. Excursions: If a Suspensionbridge Auto-Jardim, then there is in the Lynn Canyon Park also a (free! ), They have perfect with public transport (Seabus and then bus 228 or 229 )
