Expensive designer hotel turned out to be a let down *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIn my opinion the hotel was unfortunately in a very poor condition . The entree to the lounge-like lying areas where you eat your breakfast, it is in a rather run down condition. The areas for sunbathing partially have cigarette burns and don't look very clean. I noticed that the area behind the lying areas (where the radiators are) hasn't been cleaned lately.
Location
I thought the location was quite good. The small streets of Copenhagen are only a few minutes away and going out is really great on evenings.
The staff was friendly and it was no problem to in communicate (English). The room cleaning was rather bad. For example the white radiators were extremely dirty and ought to be cleaned.
Gastronomy
The breakfast was ok, though you only had a limited selection. There were about 4 different sandwiches, cereal and juices. There was no real fruit, only small and cut-up for the cereals.

Room
Our room was also very disappointing. There were stains on the curtains and the walls, which need a paint job, have also been neglected for a very long time. I didn't have the feeling that it was safe to walk around barefoot, because there were undefinable stains on the floor. I wouldn't sit on the small, white stool, which wasn't as white as it used to be. On the other hand the bed was very comfortable and also the noise level of the street wasn't disturbing, despite the single layer window. Even though I thought the price per night isn't justified in anyway.
