Cute hotel with flair, great location! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFirst of all, I must say, that the bad reviews here not understand. Eltville is a small place, very sweet, very rustic and if you stay here a hotel la expecting better where differently Hilton drive. The hotel Frankenbach as the fist on the eye in the Rheingau. The main building, in which also breakfast took place, is 'old school '. Stucco at the covers, high ceilings, old wood floors, rustic furniture and great bars. The cafe is very cute and the furnishing can certainly the one or other story to tell. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice of cheese and sausage, jam, eggs, rolls and croissants, a great bite... What more could you ask for. You should add at noon the cakes and, above all, to sample the yummy chocolates
Our room was in the new and in excellent condition. Clean, large and super comfortable beds. The bathroom was great-a lot of space. The new building was very modern decor, flat screen tv, alarm clock, including iPod/iPhone docking station and air conditioning. The corridor is in some places still not tucked away, but since you are usually not. We also the 'old' room shown. They are very spacious, clean and fit the style to the cafe. Really comfortable.
The train station is right across the street from the hotel, as we had a room on the other side had, the didn't bother us. (This note, if you want a hotel by the train station Bay, don't complain about the Zuglärm). The location of the hotel is great, within walking distance to the village and brings you directly at the river Rhine, excursions are also easily reachable. The staff, whether boss-in or staff, was friendly and we were asked at check out whether we loved it ☺
Hotel still in remodeling a restaurant is in the pipeline-but we were not disturbed by noise at any time. In any case we are curious how the hotel is, when it's finished it is under construction and will be going back next year. In conclusion can only say, that we can recommend the hotel and if you don't is family flair, but fashion Rene houses, which should please do not book here and complain afterwards!
