We booked this hotel for the home from Italy as a stop off. The room was rather worn and a bit dirty, the bathroom was very small and the lights did not work. In addition it smelled like cigarettes, even though we booked a non-smoking room, but apparently there used to be a smoking room. The employees at the reception are very friendly and tried, the breakfast was actually pretty good. Free parking directly at the hotel is a big plus, it is you in about ten minutes walk close to the center and can therefore within walking distance to explore the city. For one night the hotel was fine, we would have stayed longer we probably would have looked for another hotel. When visiting tries in Udine I wouldn't take more, as there is simply no longer the case is a modern city hotel. As the previous positive reviews I have read I would think, that there may well be room with a better standard.
