Some basic Spanish are highly recommended.
In many restaurants no German was understood, the menus are if, translated into English! This should not be a criticism, only one point, the one in hardly a tour guide, etc. will take place.
Hotel Costa Luz were I to 90% Spanish, a few British or German... Actually not the worst!
But Spanish extended families may be very strenuous in the long term.
The food at the evening buffet is not great, but OK!
Otherwise, the hotel is great, nice location, good access to the beach and good restaurants!
