For a week it was OK *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were there for a week and initially very disappointed. But is this, because everything is a something to get used to. The room itself was acceptable but the bathroom was rather dirty and unkept. The decor is very old, but it was enough to sleep and shower perfectly.
One could eat the meal also, diarrhea or vomiting either, just a bit greasy/oily. But there is something for everyone.
The staff was always friendly and understood German and English.
The pool was OK, however, if you booked all inclusive, you shouldn't expect, 'all' to get. There was water, coke, Fanta, beer and wine for all inclusive guests, cocktails, juices and other drinks cost extra.
The beach was not far away, but you should pack the bathing shoes, because you meet everywhere on stones in the water. But that was typical of Crete. Beautiful, clear turquoise water, perfect for snorkeling.
There were many excursions offered, which are also worth but very crowded.
All in all, we had a great holiday at the we were more than happy to Funchal ☺
