The George hotel is a small a friendly 10 room hotel in the resort of Golden Beach on the island of Thassos. The bedrooms are tiny but this is the only real negative. The bathroom and balcony are both good sizes. The general cleanliness is the best we have encountered in Greece. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a small but pleasant bar, Breakfast is simple and basic but in line with what one would expect from a 2 star Greek hotel. Another great benefit it is now classified as an Adult only accommodation. Overall we can recommend as good value for money..
