Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were in the June 2011 for four nights in the hotel Gershwin in new York. On holidaycheck we have found a very cheap offer (45 euro per night per person).
Afterwards I would make it not more, I can not recommend this hotel. The location of the hotel is really very good (right on the 5th Avenue). The lobby of the hotel and the attached restaurant is also very nice. However, our room was poor (superior room). We were prepared to, since we knew that the standards not too high in new York are still disappointed but we were. Right outside our window were the large air conditioners of the neighbors the noise a constant (day and night) have caused. We could nevertheless sleep but it was not comfortable.
My tip: better in NYC in a good hotel as invest in of the Gershwin. Calm, clean room and a comfortable retreat is in a city like new York very recommended!
