Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWhen we arrived by car at the hotel's own and right behind the hotel parking lot we saw on spacious first by the rain a little black colored residue facade of the hotel. But that was the only, which impressed us, first and foremost, and not just in hindsight, cannot be avoided, as you don't every year a wall of a house can be removed. The owners even occupied front desk is nice and adequate in size. The friendly reception and depending on the roster a German speaking occupation, otherwise English or Italian was still Sunday all questions, information, city maps, suggestions, tips were gladly seen helping way. The breakfast is small however fine from the breakfast lady even 'gezauberte' cake. The extremely nice and friendly breakfast lady was very attentive and accommodating. Our two sons (14 and 16 years) felt very comfortable there. The rooms are big enough, with tv, separate very pleasant bathroom, very clean. For smokers are, moreover, in front of the hotel entrance bestuhlte tables available. Here you can also, before you withdraw for a good night's sleep, a drinks. The good news however, that room and hallways were well heated. Here was not-as often-saved. The two day trips to Venice we have done easily accessible by train. The secure parking lot with barrier guard (24 hour) and at 15 euro per day at the train station of Padua is recommended; higher priced cars is a parking place in a hidden from view hall immediately after the entrance. The driving in Padua is typically Italian hectic and noisy. But you get used to this with some caution. We all felt in the hotel very welcome and well cared for, which led to a nice stay in Padua, Venice and Florence. The topic: on the way back to Germany in Bolzano drink a coffee-it is worthwhile!
