Hotel Girasol 2

The hotel is from the airport in about two hour 1 15 minutes to reach.. At the airport is directly a bus which different hotels in cala millor starts. Because of the travel time. To the beach you need at least five minutes, the location was ok, although it is the hotel located right by the beach. The town was directly on the way to the beach so it is about three minutes away. The tour operator offered many possibilities for excursions, among other things, a trip to palma to visit. We were not at the roadshow part, since we have only seven days. For those who travel longer, however, a good opportunity to change. I believe that the opportunities for shopping nearby rather poor-there was only junk and the shops are repeated-the best business was probably mango.

The staff was very, very friendly, especially the boss of the house, I think. They took our problems right on. Staff spoke very good German. Room cleaning was okay. Towels were, if you put them on the floor changed every day. Bedding was not really clean, there were stains on it, so for those Price we paid was rather bad. Bed sheets were not changed once a week.

There was a dining room, located in the Girsaol first in the morning you could choose his own place and in the evening there was slightly chaotic. At the front desk we were asked when we want to eat -19-20 o'clock or 20-21 o'clock. Apparently it was so, that the people around 19-20 o'clock a place to get food during wise, who later got a table which was available.
Somehow it nobody understood, but there were a lot of complaints.
Food was ok, varied salad buffet and main courses (fish, meat and so on so something for everyone) Vegetables were often too salty, salads, on the whole but ok. In the morning, there was a lot of choice (scrambled eggs, bacon, fried eggs, different types of bread and rolls, croissants, jam, yogurt, different cereals, sausage, cheese and so on)

Entertainment was more for children, there was often a mini disco. We used the pool never used, because it is not our taste-and rather small. If you're at the sea vacation is why go to the pool? There was internet access in the hotel-but we didn't used.
On the beach you have two options, either as sardines loll on ceilings with brought Screen or parasol and chairs to rent. Per day for two beach chairs and an umbrella 10.50 euro. We opted for the beach chairs, since it is just more and more space.

At the beginning, I must admit, I was a little shocked by the the bathroom in our room. The room condition of the hotel was okay, there were cracks in the walls and cleaner hanging from the wall, but was the room in ordentlichenm condition. Our balcony was great, very large and you had a beautiful view of the sea, but only marginally. Bathroom was as mentioned a bit hard to get used to-our toilet was clogged, this problem was fixed immediately. Bathroom was small with shower, wash basin, hair dryer and toilet. Unfortunately we didn't remember to take an adapter, the hotel is quite old and has other outlets than in Germany. At the front desk but we did get a, at the Spar is augh for about the 1.60 euro. The rooms no air conditioning, but a fan-opinions are divided. We opened the balcony door at night, that was enough. Downside: the driving by Buses at night, and the railway station, was very noisy and I must admit not a restful night's sleep.

With the mobile phone we had no problems in order to reception, but changed the networks. I have to admit, we would have hoped for more, straight, because we would have paid a little more season we were not satisfied hundred %. We expected more for decoration of the room. I found it a shame that there was no mini bar in the room.
With the service and staff we were very content, as can even other hotels with more stars are not always keep up, so I imagine my vacation stay at this hotel, but not in high season and for a cheaper price.
