Right on the beach & with a large pool-Hotel Glarus! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASince the season 2009 the hotel boasts the very large outdoor swimming pool, which is already completely in the shade from about 16-17 o'clock. There was always a lifeguard and the pool was cleaned daily, but it was very cold. A free beach chair (and to parasol) was always to find, even if you came a little later. This is probably due to the excellent beach location. You just had to cross the promenade and you're on the flat to the sea and sandy beach covered. Here you had the possibility to rent for seven leva a day beach chairs and parasol. For two persons with umbrella 21 leva so a daily. It was cheaper, located in the second row, therefore behind the rented out beach section, simply with a towel in the sand beach chairs, sunshades in the supermarket to buy. During our stay, we have met all facets of the Sea, very clean and quiet, with high waves, many seaweeds, jellyfish and patches, on the skin the. It was one exception, however, on the whole I would describe the ocean was very clean. It is very shallow, so that you might have a few meters must, in order to swim a bit. Near the hotel there are many nice restaurants, especially delicious I found the 'Goldy' , but also in the '' and 'la Bamba Caribi' , one could eat quite well. The public bus goes from the main street in about five minutes away, for a leva you can catch a bus to Sveti vlas or nessebar. Our double room was to our surprise a small apartment side of the hotel, consisting of bedroom, living room and two bathrooms. So far so good, but unfortunately the room service left a lot to be desired: the beds (which the mattresses felt were springs) were made several times, toilet paper was not, a towel was too little and the mountings in the bathroom were not only once. We thought, that a small tip the service would perhaps make improvements, but on the day the maid came to the room and then we had to give also no more desire, a bit. At the showering, the water ran from the shower stall in the bathroom, there was a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom above us and in the hallway were partly large stains. A bit strange the everything. Strangest but was, that we had during the whole time not even a mosquito at the Sunny Beach have seen, in the hotel and especially in the rooms were very many to find. Some mosquitoes skeletons stuck to the walls of the previous guests and we must make almost daily hunting of these insects and that, even though the balcony doors were equipped with fly lattices. All in all a decent three star hotel with good location (to the party mile at Hotel Kuban but it is at least 15 minutes walk), but not more than that.
