We have a friendly Family after hurghada and every family had booked a family room (two rooms with connecting door); you wanted and one room with two beds enter and two beds move, since we had two children with us. We complained; it took forever and we were constantly with the phrase ' five minutes, please is' slagged off... At some point in time, the manager went and showed and different rooms, until we finally were brought into the emerald; the wait German guide, Wife katja, which really took care of us. Thanks to its competence we got the rooms. The rooms are large and clean former, but the towel change was not always very smooth off; the meal was so la la, but one noticed, that the staff all tried very hard, to cook in the european standard. Nevertheless: stay away from the rice pudding, jello and the tiramisu the! Rice: sour; jelly/tiramisu: smelled and tasted spoiled. The food was to a high light of the fish evening and, on the other hand, the Osteressen for the (very few) German guests. The beach is ok, but next to the promenade-restaurant is a crazy amount of dirt swam in the sea, this is unappetizing. The gardens were constantly and are not very well maintained; few flowers bloom it (we were told, would be because of the time of year; but everyone, the Egyptian knows, knows, that already in the January everything blossomed and had plants): what really was annoying, was one of the cooks: he said the mother friendly Family, go to six o'clock In the evening in front of the great pyramid at the entrance of the hotel, it would await you and 'you will enjoy it'. It does not work!
With complaints was handled rather slow (let us recall our check-in); but once claimed the father of the friendly Family because of loud music, which one of the Russian guests around three o'clock in the morning, said they had to play and it was immediately the security up skilled. Compliment! 3 also, the Waiter, is really very efficient; he brings the drinks were always immediately and was always friendly; what the drinks: drinks are always prepared differently (with ice cream, without, with green protur syrup, mark strong, even weak, in large glasses, small...); in the billardbar were very many Russian guests, who didn't know how to behave (drunk were to us and had to uproot from the bartender, drunk and threw the ice bucket bawled...); the karaoke singing the dj's was well intentioned, but the entertainment was rather marginal ☺ The Shopping Mall nearby is really interesting; the prices are 'fixed', so no tiresome haggle, but you never know, what really is and what fake, so it was better to stay away from the bags/suitcases t-shirts/etc.! A hot tip is the Gewürzladen, if you walk down the street a bit to the right (on the other street side); you should try tea, and rare spices, the traders know extremely well with homeopathy and natural healing resources. All in all was the holiday a valuable experience, but we would prefer another hotel next time. This apparently has its best days already behind itself.
