Nice but expensive Landhotel near Arnhem, NL *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Golden Tulip Doorwerth is about 10 km outside, surrounded by greenery and Arnhem (Arnhem) in the Netherlands. We booked this 4 star hotel in Arnhem since we had a concert at the Geldredome. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Doorwerth in the middle of a forest on a small lake very idyllic location. The lake and the hotel's pool into the 50 's of the last century a public swimming pool with adjacent hotel, just said hotel with adjacent lake and pool. The hotel has 4 * , is very spacious. It has all the charm of countryside. The rooms are large and modern with flat screen tv, nice rich designer furniture and all have a terrace or balcony. The breakfast has its 4 stars. It is everything you would expect with a Golden Tulip Hotel. The breakfast room is very spacious with large windows to the lake and the adjacent forest. You feel almost like a noble 230,000 because in a dining room. Very pleasant atmosphere. It comes at a price. The single room was Friday on Saturday 99 , - Euro (reduced fee) + 16 , - Euro breakfast. Given the fact that this really a corporate business-price, then this is the a bit steep ... Without a car is the area (including the nice Arnhem) hardly explore since the hotel is a very "off the beaten path", but is very quiet. For a dignified getaway is the Golden Tulip really suitable, if you have a car and bring the money. The concert (Diana Ross with 60 man-Orchestra 35,000 spectators!! ) Was great!!
