Great service in fantastic location
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe architecture and decor of the hotel is standard rather than immediately impressive, but it is of a high standard. The restaurant, lounge, and rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the balconies are good too.
Location
The hotel is between the river Aare on one side, with a view of the mountains, and, on the other side, there are trees leading up to a ridge that looms impressively over the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but it is only a few blocks away from the Höheweg, Interlaken's main street. A bridge over the river is just outside the hotel. Great location.
The staff are very helpful, not only regarding hotel services but also in discussing sightseeing opportunities in the vicinity.
Gastronomy
The breakfast is good, and there is free coffee and tea in the afternoon.
Sport & Entertainment
The hotel has a lawn next to the river, which is a good place to relax when the sun is out.
Room
The rooms are spacious, generously equipped, and very well-maintained.
