Well run hotel in a central location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel "Gounod" is a small, family-run business and a nice example of the pseudo-Baroque architecture of Nice at the beginning of the 20th century. It offers good quality at reasonable prices, the breakfast room is very personable and the buffet, although relatively small, surprisingly varied and was constantly refilled. The welcome at the récéption are very friendly, professional and speedily, the staff generally friendly and helpful. The wellness facilities of the 50 meters away "Splendid hotels" guests of the "Gounod" also available, but a short all appearances in the "Splendid" any welcoming impression. The location of the "Gounod" is perfectly, achieved within easy walking distance from the hotel, and the front of the hotel on the Promenade des Anglais, for example, numerous buses run to the airport. Highly recommended!
