Hotel Grand Union

This hotel really is a very central location. 5 minutes. The Empire State Building, 50 m from the subway. Conclusion: central Can't !

The front desk staff was always very friendly and helpful. The room cleaning was flawless!

In the hotel itself there were no restaurant. In the lobby you can but directly through a door to the "Captain coffee" again. I'd recommend it to anyone. It can get very good and cheap eating. Breakfast every day we were there. On the first day we tried Pancake --> not recommended, think the take Fertigpackmischungen there and so pizza dishes cost. On the second day I then scrambled eggs with bacon/fried potatoes for just try 4.75 dollars. That was absolutely my favorite. Very delicious, very cheap and one full stays a long time. The Captain coffee it was always very clean and the staff very friendly.

We had a room on the 10th floor (room 1002) and the Empire State Building looked from the window. The rooms are perfectly adequate for city trips. The bathroom was in great condition. The room had a TV, fridge and a seating area. In the bathroom was a hairdryer. To be sure, the rooms a little "older" decorated, but it was really clean and adequate.

Definitely a caramel Macciato Starbucks coffee beverage. Very tasty. Definitely get a salad at PAX food. There are also shops everywhere. You are looking for a small or large green salad, then at the counter to select choice ingredients (maize, tuna, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, etc. ) this salad you get in a Plastikbox either to take away or eat. Tip: get salad on the Times Square and then sit on the red Steps. Is really great. The travel time in March was really very good. We had blue skies every day and sunshine. The best part was that we had no wait.
