Great hotel for the off season with top restaurants *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel stands out genially from the rest of hotel in Albufeira and is situated in a beautiful small beach, which all features the Algarve coast. us after every day trip was realized we in the most beautiful hotel far and wide have stayed here. Basically we could not great need to leave. To our time at the end of October, early November was the hotel with some families with young children/babies and retirees, mostly from the UK only weak occupied. In the kids club - the open the whole time was have three girls cared for our child. The outdoor pools with 29 degrees heated, the spa from 11:30 until 5:00 pm accessible for us free of charge. The rooms we solid 4 stars, there is not enough to luxury a lot, especially if you German 5 star hotels while. We recommend you to book an ocean front room, the resort-view of the parking lot is a've stayed at difference. From 1 . November were two restaurants, the restaurant St. Eulalia and the gourmet restaurant do Pergula closed that we would have a serious downside sensitivity and therefore recommend the time until October and from February, but not in November. But the kitchen in the only still open main restaurant do Real is superb, the chef, which is apparently guy the gourmet restaurant. all in all, we would call the hotel as very family friendly. Our daughter (1 years) was a cherished guest and someone had always immediately provision for a high chair in the restaurant and cleans it over. Even in the gourmet restaurant we without fail. On the downside is but sometimes longer period for babies as for the parents there was no buffet dinner, but probably only good quality food wise affects! With a pushchair down to the beach was somewhat laboriously, as there is, albeit not too steep - stairs.
Location
Very good on a beautiful small beach. The hotel bus runs regularly in the off season to the center of Albufeira, to a supermarket can walk without problems. We rented a car over Europe cheaper car rental car and the against gegondelt. Albufeira is therefore the ideal choice, as it is in the middle of the Algarve.
Super friendly and motivated staff, always helpful and child-friendly. We had no extra charge a late check-out as our flight was not until in the evening.
Gastronomy
Our personal highlight! Totally incomprehensible us so the previous reviews. All inclusive buffethotels in Turkey. But if you once a fish fingers is, the nothing. We almost exclusively - except for one filet mignon - perfect cooked fish, mussels and crawfish. Half board provided with booked a certificate per nose 40 EUR, the drinks, beer, water bottles of wine as it does not include. We only once, at an extra heavy (fresh fish by weight) fish, the 80 EUR exceeded and have all 6 EUR seat before sitting in it. It is in our opinion hardly possible, each time the 80 EUR for two to verfuttern. Also the sinfully expensive by Icelanic designer water in the gourmet restaurant, which have been noted, no extra charge but was included. At the gourmet restaurant serves a menu proposal, which meets the budget, this is very convenient, and what bargain hunters, as the same menus Einzelzusammenstellung would be the double costs. The restaurant St. Eulalia is absolutely perfect for the fresh fish and seafood, but also in the main restaurant do Real which had good food, only since the variety of small. The atmosphere in the Do Pergola is unfortunately pretty stiff as you would expect it in our gourmet restaurant, but the food (some real art direction Molekularküche).
Sport & Entertainment
The kids club was very nice occupied, also the spa is OK, particularly because you it for yourself. In the high season what we rather limited sports and leisure but quite narrow and too crowded.
Room
Everything ok, but like I said no 5 star rooms from the beat of Grand Hyatt or Regent in Berlin.
Tips and recommendations
We recommend you to visit the Costa Vicentina remember, the beaches of Cornwall and Ireland and are little used.
