Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe booked the hotel on the description given in the brochure and the recommendation of the travel agent from the 05 . 10 to 15 10 2008 with half board. The meals were in the brochure as buffet or a la carte menu, had no evening buffet, because very few guests in the hotel Grande Real Santa Eulalia in Albufeira. We should in their own restaurant meal and got a coupon from the hotel for every day. In this restaurant is only a limited selection of food the partly were overpriced. We had the time of booking a hotel catering trip very much aware voted and the buffet was not provided. We certainly Otherwise we would have been selected another hotel. The categorisation of "5 star" is true at least during our travel time not too. The bar and private shop were completely closed during our stay, the two tennis courts are based on an event from 07 10 . 08 with a tent überbaut and therefore useless. The kids' club castle on 13 10. And the pool side bar had 15th. also closed. We could sleep in this hotel, the rooms and the pool were in order. But that is not the only requirements at a house with 5 stars. We can't recommend at least during the high season.
