Hotel Grupotel Maritimo

The location is excellent!!! The beach is 150m away. A main street and the bus stop are right on the door! Can-Picafort and Alcuida are 10 minutes away with the Bus! Simply ideal! One can have a nice stroll at night!! Everything is very close, restaurants, bars and so on. The bus to Palma leaves from the door of the hotel; it is very unexspensive to come back from there and very comfortable, without group tour pressure! The footbridge on the beach is a couple of hundred meters away, where one can book trips with the Katamaran to Formentor! The transfer time is one hour!

Absolutely competent and helpful! Always friendly! There is nothing to complain about! The room's cleanliness was excellent! That's how an hotel should be!

The gastronomy in the hotel is beyond doubt the best. A modern restaurant in the basement where the entire staff is always very friendly! They have a nice and relax vibe that one wished sometimes in Germany. One has a place assigned to seat and so one does never have to look for place, simply fantastic!! The buffet is excellent! If somebody does not find something delicious there, should stay at home! The food was really delicious and in all kinds of forms! No matter if it was breakfast or dinner, it was excellent! We have to give it an extra sun.

There were some entretainment options in the hotel! We did not use them because we wanted to know the city! The elderly generation seemed to be having fun there! It should be as good as the rest of the hotel! The beach being 150 m away is fantastic! Very clean water! The best! We did not use the pool, but there were two available! Who wants to go into the pool with such a nice sea in front of the door?

Big and clean room! A bit too clairaudient, that would be the only defect in the hotel! Having good neighbors was good and we had no problem! We were on the fifth floorn, and it was ok. Everything needed was provided! The washroom was super! TV with German channels!

What should I recoemmend? The island offers a lot of nice things! On this corner of the world, one can find the best beaches! The old city of Alcuida is very nice! The Harbour too! Everything is very nice! A trip to Formentor with the catamaran is recommendable because one can see how beautiful the island is! Like a dream! The trip to Palma is a must! It is also recommendable to book a trip throughout the city for $57 Euros, it is worth every cent!
