Nothing for Gran-Vista target *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe last two days of our Majorca-holiday we stayed in Hotel grupotel Valparaiso, the than ausweich Hotel grupotel Gran Vista in over CA ' n picafort had to be used. What we were not told this offer before had: the next 'tourist attraction' was a lollipop-branch (!) in 1160 steps away (I've really counted!). Restaurants, restaurants or discos around the hotel-None! For young people and (party joyful) families with small children this hotel is absolutely not to be recommended! Child care or access to typical atmosphere (Promenade) holiday in Gran Vista are missing completely. Here you are dependent on taxi or bus. It is well worth it but still, because the prices in the hotel for the snacks and drinks are about twice as high (0, 5L beer on tap: 6, 50 €) as (4*)Gran Vista. (Especially at night) the view of Palma and the harbor is fantastic and compensated. The German skills of the hotel staff are limited and they could speak English and even better Spanish. On the day of departure (pick-up from hotel for 19 planned. 30 hours) we should Vacate our room until 14 hours, because the new members had already checked in guests, but we have kept 60 €(!) charge for our luggage in the room and before the check out to shower and change can...
Conclusion: a hotel with an exclusive menu and views over Palma, but exclusive prices for guests, a few days the sweet doing nothing on the beautiful pool, great spa area or in the balcony, in front of the plasma tv in the room or at the well-stocked bar want to spend.
Actually there were no alternative for the target group of Gran-Vista-seaside holiday!
