Hotel H10 Punta Negra

The location is one of the hotel greatest advantage. It is near to Palma (and to the motorway) and therefore it enables to reach every other place in the island in a quite short time. The situation is idyllic on a kind of small peninsula with 2 tiny private coves. And the garden is huge and lovely with extraordinary sea view.

The service staff who attended us were mostly very helpful and kind.

the breakfast buffet is very good. it has a great choice of everything you might want for a good international breakfast. Also I strongly recommend booking halfboard for dinner. The food is great. Some people had a negative point of view regarding the dinner which I cannot understand. The quality is top and there is so much choice that you can have different things every day. I only want to point out that some of the extras requested for some meals are a little bit exagerated.

There are 2 pools which are very clean. There is a spa which we have not used and sometimes activities like wine tasting and spanish dance lesson are offered. Though it has not the animation programm of a huge resort - which we anyway did not seek. I also want to come back to the claim of another guest regarding the sunbeds. There are enough sunbeds for everybody. The only thing is that most of the guests think they have to reserve their sunbeds in the morning though they only use them 2 hours in the afternoon. This make it then more difficult to find a free sunbed when you need one.

the hotel has been recently partly refurbished. We had a superior room with sea view with design decoration. Everything OK but the bathroom lacks of space to put a cosmetic bag and of some space in the shower to place the shower gels and shampoos.

I recommend to book a superior room with halfboard. A car is also of great advantage but there are also bus and taxi traffic.
