Nice hotel in the middle of paradise *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was being renovated when we were there. This means a few artisans in the hallways and a diminished lobby. As the salt water and the salt-laden air frequent improvements need to be made as at home, the cleanliness was absolutely in order. The rooms were modern, beds and pillows very comfortable. The shower was small and a little rough as a stable temperature wise, but that was absolutely bearable. The pool is the centrepiece of the hotel and really large well-behaved. Next to a somewhat deeper (a, seven meters) with artificial water fall pool there is a smaller 'plan Czechoslovakian pool' (with palm tree in the middle) and a Jacuzzi. A hotel bar in the Reeb cabins roof style was between the two pools. The whole thing was very nice with palm trees and cactus presented, very lovingly decorated and comfortable character, if you are on one of the many beach chairs from the sun has enjoyed. The beach is tiny (about five times x meters), in a staircase leads directly into the sea. Definitely bring goggles and a snorkel 1 m away from the shore you can see literally hundreds of colorful fish! Within five minutes a larger sandy beach could be reached with cloudy water. The offer at the breakfast and dinner was very large. On cold salad to fish, meat, vegetables and a large dessert offer it all. The quality of a star restaurants as is your own fault-not everything was great, but most still good. It wasn't't always cooked the fish was good. The coffee (instant) incredibly bad. I have stayed there and it tasted good. It is, of course, if you've looked more closely and not indiscriminately on the plate shovels. The staff is friendly-experienced. Very accommodating or welcoming you there isn't, but it is therefor not bothered or always idolised. Not all waiters spoke English, German a few. At the pool bar that is similar. It's clean, however it can be, that you in the hallway even a dead cockroach looks. The two were in ten days and in the rooms was by the bug never something to see. Is bearable/different climate, other creatures. There were funny blue wasps, but never close to the people and are very shy. Geckos and butterflies. We have neither wasps, bees, mosquitoes or moth experienced, which was magnificent. Since mainly older Brits in this hotel again it was with us in the September pleasantly quiet and polite. Many of the older people are interested in talks, and willing to help with questions to the recreational facilities. There are also those who travel alone among the guests, and there were also younger families with children, but not very many. There is a mini club for children is not much easier, but we as a couple without kids have very much welcomed. The entertainment was the only thing that we found a little annoying. Although who weren't pushy, but always in a good mood and cheerful but not trained. For those wishing to entertainment is fun, would have been here be disappointed the. Even the shows and the alleged live music (solo entertainer as in the achzigern) were really bad. If you like quiet days by the pool and its travel through the incredible volcano landscape plan to Lanzarote, if you don't five stars cuisine and still good food, that is here absolutely correctly. We really enjoyed it and would go there once again vacation. Who wants to eat times smarter if you want to experience would like to see, live music and beautiful yachts, you can take a taxi (about five-six €) to Marina Rubicon, where there is the everything. Punta limones and should be avoided-is the cheapest tourist fishing. The usual attractions of Lanzarote (most of general egen Caesar manrique created value side) is well worth it. The cactus gardens, James del Aqua, such as for the timanfaya National park and the fishing village of El Golfo we found great. Much fun in the vacation!
