Good city hotel services *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAs often described, for NY standards tightly structured hotel. Everything was very clean.
Location
Top central. Penn Station is 3 minutes walk.
The lady at the front desk wasn't really überschäumend friendly. But not rude either. Room was always cleaned very well. The concierge "John" was really great. More about it later when the tips.
Gastronomy
Relatively small breakfast room. However there was always a place. On 2 days (weekend ) were 2 in the hotel. It was in the breakfast room is very full. The food was really ok. For example there was. stuffed omelets, ground beef pads, toast, bagels, muffins, do-it-yourself waffles, fruit, fruit salad, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, cereals etc. For a start to the day really sufficient and also good.
Sport & Entertainment
There is a small ( maybe 4 x 4 m ) fitness room. Table of Contents: treadmill, ErgometerRad, rowing machine. That's it.
Room
Size was absolutely sufficient for a city break. If you have ever been in Paris at the hotel was, at the size no complaints about that. We missed a safe and storage space in the bathroom. Without safe- you can spend the money, passport etc. with rumtragen. Maybe it should have been at the front desk the opportunity our things there. We didn't ask. About the facilities extensively has already been informed. (e.g. B. Flat screen TV, air conditioning, etc. )
Tips and recommendations
"John" the concierge was really great! He made us a Helicopterflug with "LibertyHelicopter". Be careful, the flight paid once and the weather is bad (wind and rain flew ) will not and the money is down the drain. Whoever NY style a steak at Smith & should Wollenski food. My advice, no starter and no Supplement to. Otherwise it's more expensive. The sirloin steak for $48 , - is a smattering of. Then a paper bud Light it is full. Then you have tip also with less than $70 , - per person. is also great deli and cafe "Dean & DeLuca" on Broadway. For shopping the Woodbury outlet. With the Grayline bus from "Port Authority bus terminal" non-stop to the outlet. There you get to inform a coupon. With the bus rides are no charge. The issue is well worth it. We stayed from Newark Liberty Airport to the hotel incl. Great and tip about $70 , -. When we left for a Strechlimo booked on John, for $80 , - Ink. Great. Plus $15 , - tip it was $95 , -. We found the extra and the much nicer trip absolutely justified.
