Hotel Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers Beach

The location on the highway leads to the fact that you always quickly by car to the hotel and out. Within walking distance you can't do anything about it (but who does in the US). In particular is even without a car the beach not walking distance. So if you would think that the hotel is located at the beachside, mistaken. Although the hotel understands in Fort Myers Beach just across the street. The furnishings are average. Our room was not fully equiped.

The service there was nothing to complain about. The check-in was OK, the room cleaning was done neatly (it was the tip? ). Otherwise Service desert. At the pool there was no service and plastic dishes you can be after breakfast.

With the room rate is also a breakfast. It consists of toast, jam, cream cheese, waffles, coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt but also included eggs and sausage (or bacon) together. Especially at the last headings but always doubt that you on foodstuffs herumkaut or on the it annoyed me that it was served on. Everything from carton boxes. Everything too sweet or too salty. But you have to realize that this American standard.

usual as often in America, there is a small pool. This can probably for a maximum of 10 to 15 persons. But if you don't have a car, this is also the pool to watch.

The rooms were okay. Annoying is a noisy air conditioning. There are more quiet models. The furniture was still relatively new. Otherwise there was only one chair (! ) and no table. You can get better rooms for may be even less money.

If you really want to stay on the beach, this is completely wrong. Whilst it would be wrong, the hotel not recommended. However, I would not stay here again.
